Abhishek Kapoor’s next film titled Sharaabi, that denotes the main coordinated effort of Pragya Kapoor’s generation organization Guy in the Sky Pictures and Bhushan Kumar’s T-arrangement, has been in the spotlight of late. While the news of the cooperation surfaced on the web a week ago, the creators of the film uncovered that they were in talks for the throwing of the performers. As indicated by a distribution, Arjun Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor have been drawn nearer to assume the job of the hero in the film.
In view of the life of a broken heavy drinker, a source told Bollywood Hungama that the producers of the film want to cast Arjun and Shahid for the lead job. A source near the venture was cited as saying, “Truly, Arjun and Shahid have been drawn nearer for the job of the hero. The two on-screen characters have communicated enthusiasm for it in any case, neither have gone ahead board yet for the film. The film is in the extremely beginning stages and the producers are quick to have one of them in this job. The official declaration will be made once the modalities are finished.”

While the 1984 version of Sharaabi featured Bollywood’s megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, the next version of the film is yet to lock its lead. Talking about the same, director Abhishek was earlier quoted as saying, “Bhushanji and I have been talking of collaboration for quite some time now. We wanted it to be special. Sharaabi will be the right concoction of comedy, drama, and music to build this association.”
Meanwhile, Shahid is currently shooting for his next film Kabir Singh opposite Kiara Advani. Helmed by Sandeep Vanga, the film is slated to release on June 21 this year.
On the other hand, Arjun will be next seen in films including India’s Most Wanted and Panipat.
